Change IT provider with a handover planned step by step.

If you wait days for a reply, or explain your setup again on every call, it may be time to move. We plan the handover with you and gather every password and document. Nothing changes hands until it’s all checked.

Sound familiar?

  • You wait days for a reply, then explain your setup again from the start
  • Your provider was bought by a bigger firm and the service hasn’t been the same since
  • Nobody has suggested anything useful about your IT in a year or more
  • The renewal notice has arrived and you’re not sure the contract is worth signing again

What good looks like.

A handover with nothing missing
Passwords, licences, documents and supplier contacts are gathered and checked before the switch.
People who know your setup
The team that took over your systems is the team you call, so you never start from scratch.
A plan for what comes next
Once things are steady, you get a short plan covering what to fix first and what can wait.

How the switch works.

Check the contract

Your notice period and what your current provider must hand back, so the timing works and nothing is left out.

Take stock of everything

Every device, account, licence and supplier is listed, so the new setup starts from a full picture.

Change the keys

Admin access moves to us and the old provider’s access is removed, so only people you trust can get in.

Settle in, then improve

Day-to-day support starts straight away. The short plan follows once we’ve seen your systems at work.

The services behind it.

How it went for other clients.

Common questions.

Will we lose service during the switch?

The aim is that you won’t notice. Support carries on throughout, and access only changes hands once everything is gathered and checked. If something can’t move straight away, you’ll know why and when it will.

When should we give notice to our current provider?

Check your notice period first, because contracts vary. Talk to us before you give notice, and we’ll plan the handover to finish before your contract ends.

What if our current provider is slow to hand things over?

It helps to have their cooperation, but it isn’t essential. The handover starts from what you already control, such as your Microsoft 365 admin account, your domain name and your supplier contracts.

Can we move part of our IT first?

Yes. Some businesses start with day-to-day support and add the rest later. Others keep their internet provider and move everything else. The handover is planned around whatever you move.

What happens to the kit and licences we already have?

Most of it stays. We take over the laptops and licences you already have, and only suggest replacing what’s out of support or holding you back. Licences bought through your old provider can usually move to us without changing your setup.

Tell us what you need.
