Inspire Law is an SRA-regulated litigation firm in Clerkenwell, London, specialising in dispute resolution. The relationship behind this page is older than Gotschna itself: Inspire Law have been looked after by the same hands since 2010, and became one of Gotschna’s first clients the day the company began in 2022. That makes theirs the longest-standing relationship in the business, and the best answer we have to the question every prospective client quietly asks: what is this like, year after year?

The long game.

Think about what business technology looked like in 2010, and what it looks like now. Servers gave way to cloud, desk phones to Teams, the office perimeter to laptops that work anywhere. Inspire Law crossed every one of those bridges one deliberate step at a time, without drama and without ever starting again from scratch. Sixteen years of change; the same steady hands throughout.

The foundation a law firm needs.

A litigation firm’s stock in trade is confidentiality, so the basics are not optional. The firm runs on Microsoft 365 Business Premium with nothing left on the shelf: every laptop enrolled, encrypted and managed, the same protections on every device, and the whole setup watched and patched by us day to day. Their phones run through Microsoft Teams on the same secure platform, so a solicitor’s number follows them wherever they work.

Backed up, independently.

Client files and case records cannot depend on one provider’s recycle bin, so a Synology system in the office holds an independent backup of their Microsoft 365, closing a gap most businesses never realise they have. Copies exist in more than one place, and restoring them is rehearsed, not hoped for.

The whole building on one platform.

The office network is built on UniFi end to end: proper WiFi coverage, wired network, CCTV cameras and door access control, all on one system we manage. A lost fob is revoked in seconds rather than a locksmith’s visit, and there is no tangle of separate boxes from separate vendors quietly ageing in a cupboard.

The details nobody notices until they fail.

Some of the most valuable work is the least visible. When emails sent from the firm’s website and systems risked landing in spam folders, we put proper email delivery in place with SendGrid, because for a law firm an enquiry that never arrives is a case that never existed. It is the kind of detail nobody puts on a brochure, and exactly the kind that decides whether technology quietly works.

Why sixteen years.

No contract keeps a client for sixteen years; being worth calling does. Inspire Law ask us first when something new comes up, we tell them honestly when the answer is “you already own the solution”, and the relationship has outlasted four generations of their hardware. We intend it to outlast four more.

Our IT has been in the same hands since 2010. The technology has changed completely in that time; the service hasn’t. They look after everything, and we get on with running the firm.
